Download Zone Custom Field Changes
We will be opening the Download Zone so members can submit their work for inclusion, we expect all of this to be completed by the end of April 2011.

To make life easier, you can now select from drop-downs, text and tick box areas regarding additional information about the files you submit. These will be checked before being approved.

Extra categories and sub-categories are being setup, for additional files, including Flash files should you submit one. We have added a custom field for the version of Adobe Software used to create designs, this will allow for future downloads to be easily identified for which applications are required to edit the source files.

Our main objective is to make downloading from us as easy as possible, so you do not end up downloading a file you cannot use.

We do not use watermarking on screenshots mainly because this tends to obscure detail on some designs, however this rule may change in the future should we feel the need to add this feature.

If you do not see a category where your work be suitable, simply message me and I will look in to adding it. Obviously, if the category is not popular then we would move your download to more suitable area.

You will notice that we have started adding display areas to show the latest files submitted, this is to aid anyone that regularly visits to easily see what is new. Our feeds for the Download Zone is modified and a none standard one used by IP.Board, it has been changed by adding further php files to re-format the actual output, this has been done to only show the output of the titles and not full or partial descriptions. To preserve all IP.Board core files we have not touched these, which would cause issues during upgrades - therefore we have added our own custom files to change our data accordingly.
