IP.Content is one of Invision Power Services applications that is very powerful in features, and really you are only limited by your imagination as to what it is really capable of in the terms of design and functionality. Within the next week we will bringing it online, showing what we have done with with it, and various additional features we have added to make it unique to this site.

We have abandoned the standard IP.Board wrapper and designed our own customized version - we have tried various methods of implementing it in different ways. What we have done is taken it and used it across numerous new pages, with various new areas that will be added within the future. Because many people have asked us about IP.Content and how to get it up and running in a basic environment we have started documenting various ways of implementing it, these vary from just using the standard IP.Board wrapper to designing a custom wrapper arround all your pages.

No part of the default demo data was used within our IP.Content design, we wanted to be different, yet 'streamline' it across the whole IPS Suite - to do this we created our own header and footer wrapper. This means we will be making a few changes to the default skin of the forum, to match everything else. We have incorporated numerous social networks, to easily spread the word about our site.

We have already seen a 300%+ increase in traffic and growing weekly, with just the forums - this should grow rapidly once we start advertising using our methods, we use techniques that are not well known but very powerful bringing in targetted traffic. There is a few changes we need to make bring in more traffic from new keywords, currently we are on a MOZ3 with very little traffic compared to what we are capable of accomplishing. Our work with SEO has shown in the past that we can hit Google at #1 using various keywords, we are currently situated at #10 with certain keywords, but this will change very soon. If someone says that it is all about 'backlinks' do not believe them, there's much more to Google's algorithm than many people think, and you also have the fact that this changes a lot. Much depends on keywords, meta-tags, descriptions, directory listings, content, niche, etc - remember, you are hitting numerous search engines and directories, each with their own alogrithms. So, if you take that in to consideration, you need to know what works and what will cause failure. There are many companies that have popped up stating they can get you to No.1 on Google within a few days or a week, don't believe this hype, they are probably only after your cash. We have never used any company like this, and never will - our last site we optimized specifically for SEO purposes, this changed the Page Rank from a 3 to a 6 in just 6-7 months on Google, all the techniques we used are freely available on the net, it is just knowing how to implement them for maximum impact.

With IP.Content we have made a few adjustments so that the meta-tags being used reflect the page contents along with a few other tweaks. All this will be covered within our forthcoming tutorials on how to use IP.Content to your advantage, an article not to be missed.
