Echelon Designers - Site Rules
[indent]Please abide by these rules regarding posting on our message boards and throughout the whole website. Failure to comply with any of rules will result in a ban from this site. If the ban resulted from a serious violation, we will inform your ISP. You can email us asking for a reason why a ban was issued.

Spamming on Echelon Designers

• - Spamming of any kind on Echelon Designers has a zero tolerance (instant Ban issued and your username, IP and email address will be submitted to a third-party 'Blacklist' - Currently we have 27 million+ IP addresses banned from accessing this site).

None of the following will be tolerated!

• - Profanity, of any kind will not be acceptable.
• - Do not post abusive/offensive messages to other members.
• - Do not spam or flame the message boards. (Instant Ban Issued.)
• - Do not spam via Private Messaging other members (Instant Ban Issued.)
  
• - Do not advertise links to affiliates in posts or signatures (These will be removed and a warning issued)
• - Do not post pornographic, warez, hacking material. (Instant Ban Issued)
  
• - Postings should be suitable for all ages (unless stated otherwise).
• - Please do not post copyrighted material (this will be deleted!)
• - Do not post any message of political content.
• - Messages that contain 'mobile text typing' will be ignored, or deleted.
• - Signature spam will instigate an instant ban.
  

Paid Subscriptions:

• - Once Paypal has notified us of a transaction we cannot offer a refund.
• - We do not offer refunds on any valid transaction/s.
• - Our system is fully automated with Paypal.
• - All transactions are instant when done through Paypal.
• - Your membership will be automatically changed upon PayPal notification.

Arcade System:

• Anyone found to be cheating in our arcade will be instantly banned.
• A warning maybe issued if you violate certain contain conditions in the aforementioned paragraphs.
• The Arcade system is for community spirit, therefore aggravating or harassing another member is not tolerated.
• From time to time checks are performed on the Arcade, this is done to ensure a community atmosphere is always kept.
• If you feel in anyway that another member is not playing fairly, or causing a nuisance please contact admin via your Messenger.
• If anyone violates conditions intentionally, or have been warned previously then we will ban you without notice.
• Anyone leaving profanity or slanderous remarks in comments within a game against another member will be banned.
• If we receive numerous reports against any individual and these are found to be true, you will either receive a warning or ban - depending on what the matter was, will vary on the punishment received.
  

Anything that the management feels is not suitable will be edited or deleted. Any member that feels another member should be reported, please contact a moderator or admin first. Any topic that is showing 'flaming' will either be closed or deleted.

Anyone found to be posting abusive or slanderous allegations about another member, either via a forum, blogs, comment box, or private message will be banned. Contact an Admin or Moderator first, if you would like us to investigate a problem. Echelon Designers relies on good community spirit, please keep this in mind. You can report any private message that you think violates any of the aforementioned conditions, and it will be dealt with.

If you post articles that not your own - please include the source where the original article can be viewed. This is to protect ourselves, and to conform to copyright laws.

We do not 'unjoin' members because they do not post on our message boards. We understand that not everyone can post on a regular basis, everyone has a life to lead!

We reserve the right to change any part of these rules accordingly, and without prior written notice. Any violations made outside this post which may have not been noted will be at the discretion of Echelon Designers. Whether or not, we contact you at a later time will solely be at the Administrators discretion. As noted previously, a banned user may contact us regarding why their membership has been banned, however we do not promise an answer if the matter resulted from previous reasonable warnings and which you have ignored.

Privacy
Echelon Designers respects everyone's privacy. We do however record IP addresses, and monitor Private Messages mainly for spam. This is done automatically by the website sending a 'cookie' to your browser, so you can be identified by our database as a member - this cookie does expire after a certain time. Your details are never released publicly to any 3rd party, nor sold to spammers. This policy is shown throughout the site, when certain criteria is met - and additional policies may be shown.[/indent][indent]During purchases you may be required to enter details that are personal, these details are kept by us and never sold to any third-party. They are simply there to avoid invalid or fraudulent transactions, all new products purchased from us are issued with a unique license key for your domain. [/indent][indent]Support Tickets
Unless specifically asked for we do not normally require FTP, Cpanel or other details - these are only required should you require help with a certain product or an installation. All support tickets are dealt with by importance which you may state when submitting, flagged tickets have various time-scales which we try to abide by. Please do not submit more than one ticket per an issue, as this may delay the response time.[/indent][indent]
