I am the founder and administrator for a site/league dedicated to playing PES (Pro Evo Soccer) online, we are a community of like minded players who enjoy our PS3 games, the reason I'm here is that I am always in need of new graphics. And I'm hoping you guys can provide me with those to help improve my site.

...And welcome to Echelon Designers!
It's strange we have numerous gaming consoles in our house, PS3's, Xbox 360's, Xbox's PS2, 3 x NDS's and all I have is a DSi XL - I rarely play games to be honest, apart from puzzles or mystery games! lol - We have well in excess of 300 games over all the consoles, but most of them are my wife's!
Graphics, Design and Coding is what we are aiming at mostly on here... many years of experience and many clients worldwide, not just in simple graphics but flash-based games as well. We have around 5 games circulating roughly 10,000 websites and growing daily, and we are just about to hit China with some games converted to chinese, since the market there is very big. As for graphics, well we design from simple to advanced technqiues, not just in Photoshop,, but Illustrator and Flash, I expect with all the releases we have coming there will be plenty to choose from.

EchelonOne...

That was great introduction.
I have been looking for something like this for as long as I can remember.
Would you be interested in creating some graphics for me? (when needed).
Thanks

Thank you! We are not new to forums by a long way - we have been around since 2003, and some of our work from back then is still circulating websites today.
I am sure we can accommodate your requests - Our Graphic Request forum is not yet available, but will be open within the next couple of weeks. We will be open for free and paid requests, most of our paid work is within coding and flash, not imagery. We be also having a forum specifically for forum optimizing, this is another area we also specialize in, and one that will probably be very active. Our current customers on here are already impressed with support requests being dealt with on professional levels, we don't answer with a few lines in tickets - we take an approach to suit everyone and go in to depth if required.
I have some PS3 rank images in the pipeline - they will be released very soon in our download section.
You are more than welcome to submit graphic requests once we have setup a few other areas, our main front end is still in development plus we have numerous areas where we will be demonstrating new innovative ideas for customers.
Regards,
EchelonOne

I'm very busy with our community and myself and staff strive to make it a welcoming one, keeping it fresh with new graphics and features.
Quick question,
Do you have any knowledge in CSS?
Thanks

I am assuming you mean CSS coding and not CCS (IP.Content).
I can code in HTML, DHTML, xHTML, css, php, MySQL, actionscript 2 & 3, etc. You will soon see what I am capable of shortly when I bring the IP.Content system online which I am customizing on here, with a matching full forum style. I have a wide range of knowledge of internet subjects including hosting, SSH, SEO (search engine optimzing), and many other areas.
I do all my own tweaking, and optimize everything - even this IPB is using non-standard coding, it is not viewable publicly unless you start viewing the source of certain pages, it basically increases the chances of pages being indexed by various search engines and directories. It only gets read by search engine 'spiders' that are indexing the site, I've yet to get IP.SEO working correctly via a CRON, but I am working on it.

Ok well I have a problem with my Joomla website, I am looking to add a background image to the site.
I have asked on the main Joomla support but their isn't very good, the website where I got the original template from expect me to purchase a 60 day subscription before they offer me any support. Obviously £30 for something I believe is easy is to solve is not worth the money.
So I would like to ask your help on this subject?

That sounds like Rocket Themes to me... unless I am mistaken..hehe They use a subscriptioin based system, which to most people is quite expensive. I think I have a few of their themes around here somewhere for Joomla and Drupal, but I like to keep everything centralized and administer from one area, so I dropped the third-party idea and opted for IP.Content, which is very versatile if you know how to use it.
Adding a background image to any site is very simple using CSS, its just a define called background-image or can be placed in background-color using a url override to the actual image with your switches to set it to be static or repeat in the x or y direction, etc. And all that resides in the main css body tag. If you know where this tag resides then that would be even easier.
If you let me know which or more so the url of the image and how you want it to display on a page, whether you want fixed or to scroll with your content, etc.. I'll type the code up for you, or if you would rather use a more secure method then submit a ticket and I'll follow it up from there for you.
