Many will know we have been working hard behind the scenes to get Echelon Designers Officially launched, however putting together a site of this magnitude is quite a task. Our front-end is coming along quite well, and all optimized for SEO, since we do all this ourselves and do not rely on other companies. Our sleek new look is all created with IP.Content, so we can easily pull content from any area to our front-end and apply customization to it quite easily.

We are hoping to have the following forum scripts and demonstrations available very soon:
  • vBulletin 4.0 Publishing Suite
  • Invision Power Board 3.1.3 + most applications
  • XenForo - we are awaiting until at least a 'Gold' release before releasing modifications
  • Photopost Pro (integrated with vBulletin 4.0
  • vBadvanced CMPS 4.0.x integrated with vBulletin 4.0
Our front-end is being created in IP.Content which we feel is the most appropriate framework for the website since we are integrating everything fully as possible with IPB. All applications on Echelon Designers will also be updated as and when we receive details.

There will be many free new modifications available shortly, these will all be supported with commercial modifications having 1 years support from their purchase date.

Our anticipated launch is the end of January 2011 - not long really, considering we are reskinning the whole entire website to match our front-end. Much of the re-vamp is now using HTML5 and CSS3, with workarounds for IE9 beta. We have embedded fonts in to our system so the site will show correctly regardless of browser being used. This does not mean our demonstrations can handle IE9, we already have issues with vBulletin 4.0. So, far this is the only script that is causing issues with IE9 Beta.

We will be going into depth on how to draw vector images using pure CSS3, not all browsers will give you the same results on rendering and we will show you the differences - and what you are missing by using Internet Explorer.

The current shoutbox will be disabled upon our full launch, to lower our server load, and speed up page rendering which will also become optimized.

Until then, we wish you a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!
